Nancy

Nursery Lead

Hello! My name is Nancy. I have worked at Oakhill since 2021. I have worked with children for over 10 years and I am qualified to level 5 in Early Years. I am a mum of 3 beautiful girls and love the organised chaos that comes with it. I am the nursery lead and oversee the day to day running of nursery. My passion is the power of play and how when natural play unfolds, children have the potential to flourish to the best of their abilities.

Lead Early Years Practitioner

Hello! My name is Nicola, however I am mostly known as Nic. I have always loved working with children after studying Level 3 Childcare and completing the course in 2012. I have recently started working at Oakhill Church School and Nursery in September 2019.I truly love the Early Years for the freedom it gives you to be creative and give children the quality early experiences they need to learn and develop as individuals. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow, develop and thrive.

Early Years Assistant

Hi my name is Sarah and I have been working in early years for the past 16 years at Ashwick and Oakhill Playgroup, before moving into Oakhill Church School Nursery in September 2019. Since then we have developed and thrived into a happy and nurturing place to learn and feel that this is constantly improving and moving forward. I am married with 3 children; two girls and one boy and have 4 beautiful grandchildren whom I absolutely adore. I love the outside and enjoy all aspects of gardening and the natural world. I also love to ride horses and walk my dogs.

Early Years Assistant

Hi my name is Sandra and I have worked in early years for about 20 years. I joined Oakhill Church School nursery in April 2022. I am passionate about early years and love seeing the confidence, knowledge and independence develop at this age. I am a trained forest school leader, I love forest school and understand what amazing learning can be gained from our natural world. I am married with two children, (well my eldest is thirty). I enjoy line dancing, walking, cooking, and the most important thing is I love, love all things Disney.

Lindsay

Early Years Assistant

Hi my name is Lindsay. I joined Oakhill Church School in 2024. I have 2 children and we are pony crazy.  My children compete in the Pony Club mounted games and we are regularly off completing around the country. We have completed in HOYS for the last few years and our team won this year.  I love working in the nursery and getting to know all the children and seeing them grow.
